…A pudding recipe that’s high fiber, high protein, full of healthy fats, and low in sugar!!

Well, I’ve totally outdone myself with today’s chocolate pudding recipe… this is damn good!!

As you know, I always look for ways to make seemingly unhealthy foods into healthy fat-burning versions. Some popular recipes of mine in the past were when I made a truly healthy chocolate fudge, as well as my recipe for the worlds healthiest cheese steak.

But today, here’s my recipe for an amazingly healthy fat-burning chocolate pudding that’s high in fiber, healthy fats, protein, and low in sugar, with ZERO artificial sweeteners and NO added sugars!

I know… I’m a freakin mad scientist with this stuff. But I actually got the idea for this recipe from Mens Fitness magazine… however, I changed it all around because I didn’t like some of their ingredients, plus their recipe was too high in sugar in my opinion…and I added more protein.

Here’s the Geary version of Healthy Fat-Burning Chocolate Pudding:

(This recipe will make about 2-3 servings and is a great healthy dessert or late night snack)

•1/2 of a ripe avocado (soft to touch)
•approx 3 tablespoons of almond butter (preferably raw if possible)
•approx 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
•2 heaping tablespoons of organic cocoa powder
•1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
•1 or 2 packets of stevia (or to your desired sweetness level)
•1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop of chocolate protein powder (my new favorite is an amazing GRASS-FED whey protein I found here)
•just a small pinch of salt
Put the avocado and almond butter into a bowl and mash together with a fork until smooth. Then add all of the other ingredients into the bowl and mix together vigorously until all is mixed and smooth.

If everything went right, the consistency will be similar to pudding… except normal pudding makes you FAT with loads of sugar! My healthy pudding recipe will actually HELP you to burn fat, control cravings, and satisfy your body’s need for micro-nutrients, protein, healthy fats, and fiber.

If the pudding ends up too thick, simply add a bit more almond milk or coconut milk for more moisture.

If you want to get a little wild and add some more nutrient-rich additions, feel free to add some chopped pecans, chia seeds, rice bran, or walnuts at the end.

I would like to share a little history about me as I have been running a fitness website that ranks in the top 5 results for Google's Fitness Sites search term for over 10 years now.

I had fallen in to the same trap many people do. Little time to work out , not controlling my food intake and sitting at a desk all day long.

Well thanks to my wife Sarah who is a certified personal trainer and Jon Benson I woke up one morning and said "I run a fitness website" how could I have let myself get into this terrible shape without doing something about it.

But my time is very limited these days (and who's isn't ).. Between my full time day job running a warehouse and then long nights at the computer working on the AtoZfitness.com website the weight just kept creeping up on me and before I knew it I had reached an all time weight of 215 lbs.

For me being only 5'8 215 lbs was a heavy weight for me to carry and it showed both in my face and my belly and my cholesterol was over the roof.

Well my buddy Jon Benson had just released a new program called
7 Minute Muscle and he promised it was a fast and intense program that only would take 7 minutes a day ,or 16 minutes if you count the 9 minutes of cardio that goes with the 7MM program.

You see I am just a regular guy like you trying to balance my time between a hectic day job and running AtoZfitness.com as well as having time to just enjoy life.

So when Sarah and Jon Benson the creator of 7mm approached me to try 7mm I was very happy to try something that promised max of 15 minutes in our home gym and still get results. Well I am actually gaining muscle and burning fat at the same time . So you can imagine how pleased I am with this 7mm system. (btw it is for woman as well as Sarah is doing very well on it )

I am also using the Every Other Day Diet (aka EODD for short) to keep me on track nutrition wise, with portions and food choices.

I also have my wife, Sarah monitoring my progress in the gym, and making sure I stick to the EODD plan by preparing my daily meals for me. I was surprised at the pump I'd get in just 7 minutes, and how I would feel the soreness for 2-3 days after a workout.

Family, friends and co-workers are noticing a difference, one said "Lewis, you keep losing weight" and another burst out a "Wow Boss, you're pumped!" just yesterday.

It's a nice feeling when you get comments like this. OK, who am I kidding? It's a great feeling :) and it is one you can experience too simply by going to your local gym, or training from your home, for a mere 7 minutes a day 5 days a week (+ 9 minutes cardio which is fact is just 3 minutes hard(er) sprint between 3 minutes each of warm-up and cool-down).

You may get some looks and comments from other gym members who think you're nuts, but in a few weeks they'll be coming to you to find out what you're doing, the results are that good.

Sarah and I are both using 7MM in combination with Jon Benson's Every Other Day Diet and we are both seeing great results both on the fat loss front and the muscle building one. Yes, we are waging war on two fronts simultaneously, and it is working.
