It’s always fun to see someone actually dare say out loud what many suspect and many know but mindfully suppress from common knowledge.

What I am talking about, is Mike Geary’s new Fat Burning Kitchen e-book.

Most of the things on his “do not have in the house” lists I already do not have in the house. The reasons have been either explained in other books (partially) or the information gathered from here and there on the Internet. However, nowhere have I come across a more interesting and informative way of getting the message across – I’m tempted to say it’s at times almost caustic, which makes for enjoyable as well as informative reading.

Everything goes – from the healthy pasteurized dairy products to the healthy soy, the necessary sports drinks and the fat-reducing light products and more. Hey, wait a minute, all that is crap! Blatant lies. And all cleared up very thoroughly and simply by Mike Geary.

The good news is that Mike goes on to tell us what to make sure we do have in the house.

Of course, I’ve already known that some fats we have all been told are bad for us, really are good for the body, for the hormones, for fat loss! Mike explains the details behind this, in terms that we can all understand and remember so that we can pass on the information to friends and family.

The same goes for his chapters on nuts, dairy, butter, chocolate, teas … you know what? At the end of this, I wish I could go back to when I was a little girl in my grandmother’s kitchen! She used all the healthy ingredients Mike Geary is telling us to use. And she only became sick when she changed for the foods that the media was telling her were better for us all. Coincidence? Hardly.

How many of us have reached for those “protein” bars at the different stores and thought we were getting something healthy? Most, I’m sure! Mike has a list of the best ones, as well as what to look for and avoid in others.

After having emptied out your kitchen following Mike’s recommendations at the beginning of the book, you’ll get a shopping list to transform it into a healthy kitchen towards the end of the book. This will be a helpful list to many as it tells you to buy what the media is trying to tell you to avoid. Having read Mike’s book, you now know better!

Finally, Mike Geary outlines a 23-day plan for accelerated fat loss. That’s just over 3 weeks. Seriously, we can all follow a plan for 3 weeks, no? Sure we can! Hey, Lewis and I have a 3-week deadline coming up, I do believe we’ll give this a shot!

There are a few recipes scattered throughout the e-book, all of which I will be incorporating into my usual menus.

This is a very condensed, highly informative book that I feel should be a staple in every fitness-minded person’s collection. You can get your copy right here =>

Pigs In Space:
The Truth About The Swine Flu

THE MEDIA IS LYING TO YOU!!

Shocking News: 36,000 People Dead In The U.S. Due To The Flu!

Sounds scary, doesn’t it? I mean, this whole Swine Flu makes you want to send every pig on earth into orbit.

Pigs in Space!

That’s the answer man. Shoot ‘em all up into the atmosphere. Let Ms. Piggy sort ‘em out.

That bit of shocking news? It’s true.

About 36,000 people have already died of the flu — last year.

And the year before.

And…. the year before that.

And so-on, and so-on.

Not the “Swine” flu — that’s killed one person so far in the United States (an infant.)

The “flu” flu.

You know…. the FLU? The pain-in-the-ass flu bug that you’ve known about but never feared and panicked over since you were a kid?

Yeah… that flu.

36,000 a year in the U.S. alone.

How many media outlets are talking about this historical fact? Hardly any.

Just today I saw headlines in 4-inch type: “FIRST AMERICAN SWINE FLU DEATH”.

Now, I feel for the poor little baby who died. Do not get me wrong.

But can you not see the clear, unmitigated media hype here folks?

The media depends on sensationalism and hype to sell papers and advertising. Period.

And almost ever year, something like this comes along. A few years ago it was “Bird Flu.” Remember?

How many people do YOU know that were killed by the Bird Flu.

Uh-huh. Me too. Zilch.

Let’s review:

36,000 a year die of the simple, plain-old flu.

And… we’re supposed to freak out over the potential of a new strain?

Okay — here’s what you can do to protect yourself from any strain of flu — and colds for that matter.

Ready? It’s kinda complex, so be sure to take notes…

1. Wash your hands.

2. Never touch your mouth before washing your hands.

3. Eat a diet that is low in insulin response.

4. Drink plenty of water.

That’s all.

I know, very, very complex stuff… but… what can I say.

The only thing you may NOT being doing (most people are not) is eating a low-insulin diet. That’s a diet that does not promote insulin resistance in the cells.

The ideal diet for that is my Every Other Day Diet. Why?

Well, because I wrote it… that’s why. ; )

Actually, because it allows you the foods you love every week, so you don’t feel like you’re on a diet all the time.

If you doubt the claims, just read about the results on my support blog.

Or get yourself a copy. Try it. If you don’t like it, I’ll pay you back.

Simple as that.

Go here now –

The Every Other Day Diet The Flu AND Fat Killer

Feel better now? Good.

Have you ever started out to do one thing but ended up doing something different?

Night and day different?

Remember how Post-It Notes were invented?

Some guy was trying to come up with a “permanent” glue.

Obviously he failed… and he considered it a failure… but 3M had another idea.

The guy was all of a sudden Joe Brilliant.

Well, I’m feeling a bit like Joe today. But this is much more interesting to you than Post-It Notes…

It’s about sex… sorta. Not dirty, I’m talking about couple’s stuff here.

My new book just came out today about it.

But it didn’t start off that way at all. In fact … get this… I was co-writing a book with medical researcher Frank Mangano on lowering blood pressure without meds… really.

So how did this big U-turn occur?

Okay, okay…. funny, true story:

I read this article from a medical journal about how “lowering blood pressure would help sexual-performance-problems.”

Ding. The lightbulb went off in my head.

You see, lowering blood pressure is probably the most healthy thing you can do for yourself.

But face it — it’s really, really BORING.

I mean, who really cares about their blood pressure unless their doctor says, “Look, lower your blood pressure or you’ll die in six months.”

Then you care.

Are you with me?

I’m right and we all know it.

Heck, I was the same way.

I ignored my blood pressure for years until it hit stroke-level back in my 30s.

Then I could no longer ignore it.

I found every natural alternative possible… which led me to Frank’s books… and they are the BEST.

So Frank comes to me and asks me to contribute to his very popular on-the-shelf book “The Blood Pressure Miracle” –

… and I said,

“Hey, guess what I just read?”

Since he’s the researcher, I said, “Go see if there’s any truth to this.”

The results BLEW MY MIND.

Not only is there truth to it — that, yes… lowering blood pressure not only extends your life but also extends your sexlife as well — but WOW… it’s a major player in everything from male-ED to females feeling “out of the mood.”

It’s crazy, but it’s true.

It makes sense once you read this:

Low Pressure Sex Book Click here for “Low Pressure Sex”

Hang with me: It gets better…

So Frank digs up article after article on the subject of high blood pressure and LOW sexual-energy and performance… and we have a much more compelling reason to want to lower our blood pressure, now don’t we?

But we wanted more.

I said, “Look Frank, I get a lot of emails about sex-after-30… people who want to feel more kick, more alive in that area of their lives… and above all, closer to their mates.”

So… we decided to add another book on TOP of our book…

… a book on improving sexual-pleasure for couples only. “RevolutionarySex” is the name of it. My friend Alex Allman wrote it…and just like that we had two books instead of one.

But that’s not all… ( told you… this story is interesting… ; )

THEN my friend Jeff Anderson comes out with his “homemade V” — and guys, we know what “V” stands for.

Listen: V (little blue things) is really dangerous stuff. It really is. It RAISES blood pressure for one thing. For another it can cause addiction and memory loss.

But Jeff’s version is all-natural, cheap (we’re talking pennies instead of dollars per “pill” to make) and above all… SAFE.

So all of a sudden… THREE books (plus an audio)… so…

It became a System, not a book.

And the topic went from “lowering blood pressure” to …

… How you can completely solve your sexual-performance-problems and increase your pleasure all by lowering blood pressure naturally without meds.”

What a concept…

…and it WORKS.

Low Pressure Sex Book Click here for “Low Pressure Sex”

Here are the advantages…

1. If you take blood pressure meds… and a lot of you do… your “kick in the stick” suffers. A lot. Some men suffer all the way, which lead them to taking the V stuff…

… and that stuff ‘raises’ blood pressure.

Bad, bad combo. Our System gets you off of that dangerous and expensive cycle of drugs and on to a natural, easy approach that also adds pleasure to your relationship.

2. Cheaper… by far… than meds.

3. Something you can read and do as a couple or as a single person.

4. You get healthy and you get your vigor back at the same time. Ladies too.

5. It’s guaranteed-to-work… 60 days on us.

I’m very proud of this System. We put a lot of time, research and effort into it.

If you want a life freee from high BP and sexual-performance-issues and better health, then go here:

Low Pressure Sex Book Click here for “Low Pressure Sex”

Fit Bits: Forget Perfection

You will never be perfect. At anything.

Period.

Forget it. In fact, the faster you forget it the faster you’ll make progress in the gym and with your weightloss-goals.

Perfection with a dietplan is silly. No one will eat perfectly for life. No one will make every workout.

But thousands upon thousands of people try to be “perfect” every single day. That’s why they fail on their dietplans and exercise schedules.

They are too demanding.

In the first day’s lesson in my Personal Fat Loss Certification Course I teach you (free) how to avoid perfection in both dietary and exercise protocols so you can progress enjoyably for life.

Trust me: I’m far from perfect. Tonight I had Mexican food. Bad Mexican food, but still… ; )

And I’m still in good shape. I know how “not” to be perfect — and how to eat ‘tomorrow’ to ensure that what I had ‘tonight’ will not affect my body or my health at all.

I look forward to teaching you the same secrets.

Well, I'm feeling a bit like Joe today.

But this is much more interesting to you than Post-It Notes...

            It's about s - e - x... sorta.

Not dirty, I'm talking about couple's stuff here.

My new book just came out today about it.

But it didn't start off that way at all.

In fact ... get this... I was co-writing a book with medical researcher Frank Mangano on lowering blood pressure without meds... really.

So how did this big U-turn occur?

            Okay, okay.... funny, true story:

I read this article from a medical journal about how "lowering blood pressure would help sexual-performance-problems."

Ding. The lightbulb went off in my head.

You see, lowering blood pressure is probably the most healthy thing you can do for yourself.

But face it -- it's really, really BORING.

I mean, who really cares about their blood pressure unless their doctor says, "Look, lower your blood pressure or you'll die in six months."

            Then you care.

            Are you with me?

I'm right and we all know it.

Heck, I was the same way.

I ignored my blood pressure for years until it hit stroke-level back in my 30s.

Then I could no longer ignore it.

This is an interesting topic...

Some people try too hard when they work out, not realizing they are actually sabotaging their own efforts. There is a such thing as overtraining, and it doesn’t only lead to injury. Overtraining can absolutely lead to decreased fat loss, less definition, and greater cardiac risk. I know that this sounds odd, but bear with me as I explain the 3 principles of overtraining that make exercise toxic when you do too much. These principles are:

This is an interesting topic...

Some people try too hard when they work out, not realizing they are actually sabotaging their own efforts. There is a such thing as overtraining, and it doesn’t only lead to injury. Overtraining can absolutely lead to decreased fat loss, less definition, and greater cardiac risk. I know that this sounds odd, but bear with me as I explain the 3 principles of overtraining that make exercise toxic when you do too much. These principles are:

1. Poor Heart Rate Recovery

2. Acidic State In The Body

3. Second Session Syndrome (TM)

Let’s take a closer look at each one of these...

 												Poor Heart Rate Recovery:

By maintaining your max heart rate over a prolonged period of time, as would happen with anaerobic exercise and too little rest, you will actually be training your heart to respond to exercise in an over-exaggerated way. Your body will begin to learn that your ‘Fight or Flight’ response is an ‘All or None’ response, and react to exercise accordingly. I believe this is best illustrated by a story of one of my previous clients:

You see, when I first started personal training I wasn’t convinced that overtraining was a legitimate problem, so long as someone maintained mobility, wasn’t 9 out of 10 sore, etc. I was accustomed to two-a-days from water polo and swimming for so many years, that I hadn’t given a whole lot of thought to the idea of my client riding horses for 2 hours a day, riding her bike for an hour, and then training with me to the max 4 days a week. She didn’t get hurt.

In fact, it was nothing like that. She got into ridiculous shape, and, to this day, I’m so proud of her accomplishment. Instead, Juliane (my client), began to notice that within the first minute of walking on the treadmill her hear rate would go up to 155 bpm, without a whole lot of exertion. Naturally, this got me thinking...

You see, heart rate recovery is one of the greatest predictors of cardiac disease. I hated the thought of my client who was in such incredible shape having an increased risk of cardiac disease. Over a couple of months, we were able to correct the issue, but her heart rate ‘spike’ was a result of overtraining. That was the bottom line.

 												Acidic State In The Body:

According to Eastern medicine, any decrease in the pH of your body (i.e. making it more acidic) will result in increased probability of infection. Dr. Mike Gorman, a chiropractor and applied Kinesiologist in the Bucks County area, has explained to me that he balances pH in order to cure cancer. Crazy, I know!

If you constantly tax your body in ways that make it interpret the stress as illness, it will always be trying to recover. During this entire recovery process, your body will be more stressed, and you will also have a large build up of lactic acid. Remember, any prolonged increase in acidity may lead to bigger diseases than just injury.

Don’t worry, I’m not saying that lifting weights causes cancer, or anything like that. I’m just explaining that a prolonged acidic state in your body makes it difficult to recover. By allowing the pH to return to normal, you are creating a stronger body, and a body more capable of fighting outside infection. It just makes sense.

 												Second Session Syndrome (TM):

Overtraining can lead to prolonged recovery time, as is explained above. It’s a fact that you will be unable to perform at the same level every day over the course of a month if you overtrain. The following are ways that you can overtrain, leading to decreased efforts on all subsequent visits to the gym:

1. Frequency - how often do you work out? Do you rest at least 1 day per week?

2. Duration - how long do you work out? Are you dosing exercise correctly if are building up to a higher exercise tolerance?

3. Intensity - how hard are you working? Are you taking ample rest periods to recover between exercises, sets, or circuits?

4. Mode - are you mixing it up a bit? Do you constantly do the exact same form of exercise? Do you need help with program design?

Within a few weeks of overtraining, you are sure to suffer from Second Session Syndrome. This awful ‘disease’ is when you plateau or decrease strength the day after a workout. This shouldn’t be the case. If you are working out correctly, you should be able to feel just as strong today as you did yesterday.

Overtraining is dangerous in more ways than one. Exercise truly can be toxic. By understanding the 3 principles listed above, you are sure to have a competitive advantage in your six pack abs exercise program.

            Exercise makes your brain bigger.

Actually this isn't entirely accurate. To be more specific, exercise was found to increase brain size slightly, but far more important to increase "spatial reasoning."

This is the ability to recognize patterns, remember phrases, numbers, and so-on. This was discovered by researchers at the Universities of Chicago and Pittsburgh.

It is also one of the most important factors to the prevention of Alzheimer's and dementia.

My mom suffered with dementia the last ten years of her life. But unlike most dementia patients she was fully functional thanks to exercise. She drove and had a mind that was unbelievably sharp right up until an accident injured her beyond the ability to exercise.

After that, she mentally went downhill rapidly. Thankfully, she passed in peace... and she had ten wonderfully active years thanks to her willingness to take up weight training at the age of 71.

She eventually walked up to 3 miles per day and trained in the gym 3 days per week.

That kept her mind sharp, along with fish oil and N-Acetyl L-Carnitine, a wonderful brain nutrient.

Once again, we see the power of exercise. It increases the QUALITY of your life.

Quantity is no where near as important to me as quality.

The links at the bottom of this newsletter are to my books on exercise. Pick the one that appeals to you most and take action.

Your brain will thank you, as will the rest of your body.

One of the best ways to start exercising when you are over 40 is by using the routines covered in "Fit Over 40".

This book profiles 53 different men and women, age 40 to 80, all sharing their workouts, nutrition plans, and mental empowerment techniques.

It is a MUST-HAVE for anyone wanting to begin exercising or improve their level of fitness after the age of 40.

            How about a stroke? Diabetes?

Okay, this isn't sounding like a positive letter... but hang in there. It gets a lot better and more positive.

I was having lunch today with my CPA and my good friend Sherry Strong. Sherry's upcoming book is a must-read. I will let you know when she's ready to release it.

Since Sherry has been here visiting me in Dallas I have learned SO much about natural food preparation and what really causes disease.

Our conversation took a turn to "doctor's tests." I think most of them are worthless. Some are vital.

It's important to know the difference.

I'm going to give you the three tests you absolutely must take if you want to help ensure your future health in a moment.

But first, let me give you Sherry's argument to my third test.

Yes, we nutritionists argue sometimes. ; )

I'll let you decide. But statically it's far more accurate than any blood test... and get this:

You can do it at home for freee.

So far, are you with me? Good.

I'm going to go in reverse order, third test to last...

The third test is simply this:

Measure your waistline. Use a tape measure and do not pull it tight. Measure right below the navel.

Write down that number in inches.

Then measure your height out of shoes in inches. Write that down too.

If your waist in inches is more than twice your height you are FOUR TIMES more likely to have heart disease.

Four times. That's more predictive than cholesterol tests by far.

And a lot less expensive to boot.

Don't just read about this test -- DO IT. I'll give you something you can do ABOUT it if you fail this test in a second.

The great news is that this is one factor that is totally within your control.

Test number two: Know your SED rate. This is an inflammatory marker in the blood.

Test number one: Know your hsCRP and LP(a) levels. Both of these can be done as one test usually. Both are inflammatory markers as well as key indicators of heart health.

Go to your doctor and ask for these three blood tests. Usually they can be done all at once. Sometimes they are separate, but they are all crucial.

If you are thin and look healthy, listen to this:

You too can be Lance Armstrong or Jim Fixx....and not know it.

Lance and Jim looked like two of the healthiest men on the planet. Lance beat testicular cancer but came within an inch of his life. Jim died after a short jog of a heart attack very young in life.

            Looks can be deceiving.

This is Sherry's argument -- and she's totally correct.

That's why I give you THREE (well, actually four) TESTS.

You see, it's virtually impossible to have a normal SED rate, a normal hsCRP level and a normal LP(a) level and be at imminent risk for any of these killer diseases.

Possible, perhaps -- but almost not.

So, if you look healthy and feel like a bazillion bucks, you still need to know your levels of these inflammatory markers.

If you are overweight or obese, you totally absolutely MUST do the waist/height test as well as the others.

You see, it goes both ways.

Some obese folks test out okay at the doc's office. Their cholesterol, blood pressure, and all typical readings are okay. Rarely does a doc run an hsCRP or LP(a). And rarely do they run a SED rate.

            See the importance here?

Both the fit and the unfit can be at dire risk and not even know it.

            Now, here's the solution:

A low-inflammatory nutrition and training plan, along with plenty of stress-free time.

I can help you with the first two things.

The third thing -- de-stressing -- is up to you. You may want to spend 30 minutes a day doing yoga, walking, meditating, praying, or whatever calms your MIND and BODY down.

            Check it out:

Lance and Jim were both doing insane amounts of exercise... so much that they demanded insane amounts of high-inflammatory foods. Foods like processed carbohydrates for example.

And they both got sick. One of them died.

My good friend Dr. Steven Chase believes that 85% of cancer is preventable.

            Re-read that: 85%. And he's an oncologist -- a cancer doctor.

And you know heart disease is 95% preventable... or did you?

But all of these killers, especially diabetes, demand a low-insulin, low-inflammatory nutrition and exercise plan.

Lance and Jim had sky-high inflammatory levels from all that exercise. It was literally TOO much exercise.

That's why so many marathoners die of heart attacks. They eat inflammatory foods and engage in high-stress exercise for too long of a time.

            So, what's the answer?

            1. Short workouts that are intense, effective, and enjoyable. Weights and cardio both, or in-home resistance workouts will work fine.

            2. Longer "soft" workouts like brisk walking that helps de-stress the body and burn more bodyfat.

            3. A nutrition plan that allows for your favorite foods at the RIGHT TIME of the day but also helps you burn bodyfat without activating your body's stress-producing hormones like cortisol...cool.

Most nutrition plans are stressful. Big mistake. Stress can cause you to hold on to bodyfat. Plus stress causes inflammation.

Most workout plans are either too easy or too intense for too long a period of time. My System is super-short (7-14 minutes a day, plus walks when you can.) This is enough to build all the muscle you need plus burn bodyfat when combined with the nutrition plan.

My System's nutrition plan is ideal if you are willing to "diet" for a day or two, then enjoy a day of eating "normal" foods.

Hey, no one is perfect. Anyone who has half a brain should know that not very many people (myself included) are willing to do without their favorite foods forever.

That's silly -- and it's not necessary to burn bodyfat.

In fact, my System 'demands' that you eat these foods at certain times TO BURN MORE BODYFAT!

            Wild, isn't it?

It's the System I've used for years.

It's the combination of two books:

7 Minute Muscle + Every Other Day Diet

Get them both for one low price...

            Go here:

http://www.7minutemuscle.com/aff/atozfitnes/oto <--- Helps you pass the tests

Any of my three Upgrade Kits come with both books, a full year of support from me on the Every Other Day Diet group Forum, and so many bonuses I can't list them all.

This combo is something I am so very proud to share with you.

It's the ultimate System for lowering bodyfat, increasing lean muscle, lowering insulin, lowering inflammation, and ensuring your health.

Whether you are in shape or obese, this System is one that will work for you.

http://www.7minutemuscle.com/aff/atozfitnes/oto <--- Helps you pass the tests

It's like a dream come true.
          "Gaining bodyfat is the result

Wouldn't that be great news Lewis?

     Well...

Let me tell you about the AD-36 adenovirus.
Adenoviruses are the same nasty bugs that
cause the common cold. We all have these
viruses in various forms in our body all
     the time.

That last bit is a critical distinction.

                 Remember that.

     The Pennington Biomedical Research Center
in Louisiana has been doing some really
     ground-breaking research on AD-36. AD-36
affects stem cells... more specifically fat
     cells, both pre-formed and post-formed.

This means AD-36 can make MORE fat cells
if contracted as an infant and make your fat
cells larger if contracted as an adult.

     Or so the theory goes.

     To quote the study:

     "Earlier researchers have concluded that
Ad-36 may be contributors to obesity by
super-charging fat cells to grow and store
more fat. Until now, though, those
     researchers thought the viruses targeted
     pre-fat cells (called pre-adipocytes),
causing them to convert in higher numbers
to fat cells and causing those fat cells to
be larger. Those studies were in mice.
     Pasaricas work determines the virus
     targets stem cells in humans."

          The result?

"In one test, a third of obese people had
the rare and highly contagious virus
compared to just 11 percent of thinner
people. Weight gain can last three months
until the body has built up resistance to
     the bug."

Wow. Sounds like we have a winner here. A
virus that you can catch that literally
makes you gain bodyfat! All we need is...

          a vaccine!

     Right?

          Wrong.

First of all, notice that 11% of LEAN
people have AD-36. And at any given time,
just like a cold or a flu virus, you could
contract AD-36. If your body has 'never'
been exposed to it, you may require about 3
months to build up antibodies to ward it off.

Now, you can gain a lot of weight in 3
months... but come on. You cannot become
obese in three months unless you are
     really, REALLY working at it.

Plus, like most viruses, you build up
immunity to AD-36. Researchers do not
know how long the immunity lasts, but some
theorize it could last years... some even
     decades.

And let's not forget those 11% who are lean
     and have the virus.

Why did they not all of a sudden get "sick"
     with bodyfat?

Because they are not EATING or LIVING
in a way that allows them to gain bodyfat no
matter what nasty freakin' viruses may be
          floating about, that's why.

That's right folks: It is always going to
come down to the food we put in our body
     and the way we move.

Here's another hypothesis presented by Sherry Strong, food philosopher and nutritionist: "This could very well be the result of nature creating a mutation to encourage us to eat more due to the fact our consumption of natural, whole and organic foods is so low."

Brilliant observation... and one that makes complete sense.

Even if a "virus" is responsible for 20% of
our weightgain, what about the other 80%?

We do not need a vaccine other than good
food and a common sense workout plan.

     Here's the best --

Here's why I love this workout:

     1. It's fast. 7-14 minutes 3-5 days per
week. Anyone on earth can do this.

     2. The Basic Upgrade (you will see it)
still comes with a copy of my book The
and you have an absolute winner of a plan
     that's practical and enjoyable.

     3. Plus, anyone who owns Every Other Day
Diet gets my upcoming Radical Fatloss

That's 3 good reasons to go here and

                 Here's one more:

          You know better.

You know that there's never going to be a
magic pill for health, vitality, energy and
     looking your best.

We can keep hoping... or you can take
action and get what you want now.

To me, that makes more sense than AD-36
The God-Awful Truth About Cellulite…

Do you know this type of woman?

She looks great in her ‘sexy jeans… She looks amazing in a form fitted skirt… and she actually looks like a ‘hottie’ in her workout gear… But when she’s naked – she can’t stand to look at her trouble spots in the mirror because of her cellulite…

A bikini is out of the question… the short little dress won’t see the light of day… and her man is only allowed to "see her" with the lights off…

She doesn’t know why she has it. She’s heard so many different ‘theories’. And she’s wasted hundreds, if not, thousands on supposed ‘cellulite treatments’ – only to find more disappointment and frustration when her cellulite got worse, instead of better…

She may have even tried "the gym thing" – doing the same routine every other members does – again only to find the cellulite is still there…

She loves her weight, her size and even her shape… All she wants is to be cellulite free…

Truth be told there is only one proven way to get rid of cellulite. And yes, it is ‘exercise’ – but it’s not just any old fitness routine… The effective way to banish cellulite is with a specifically structured, laser-targeted cellulite reduction exercise program.

In order for the program to deliver the desired results, it must include these six principles called, R.E.D.U.C.E.

                        R.E.D.U.C.E.

1 – Replace all ‘weight and machine’ lower body exercises with bodyweight exercises — this may seem counter-intuitive to the mainstream ‘fitness’ approach to cellulite reduction – but its the main reason why it actually works…
2 – Emphasize the slowness of each repetition – This allows the whole muscle to be involved and properly engaged in each exercise – a key to lower body cellulite reduction
3 – Don’t get caught up in the ‘No pain – no gain’ mentality — this concept forces women to think "doing more is better" which is not the case. This actually prohibits the desired result of cellulite reduction and this is also where exercise related injuries occur…
4 – Utilize ‘items’ in your home for a complete lower body, anti-cellulite exercise program — items such as a cushioned chair or couch, a firm ottoman, and a pantry step stool are ideal…
5 – Concentrate on moving from one exercise to the next with no more than 20 seconds between sets — this is an important element for the cellulite reduction effect…
6 – Expect visible cellulite reduction to start within 2 - 3 weeks if you get your lower body sessions in three times per week (some women can get away with just two sessions per week).

It is widely know that cellulite affects women of all ages, body types, and body weights.

Unfortunately this allows for a lot of unscrupulous marketers of ‘hyped up’ products, to take advantage of desperate and hopeful women. They employ sneaky advertising tactics that prey on the emotional pain of this large target market – bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars in profits year after year – WITHOUT delivering the promised results…

But even when a woman tries the ‘exercise’ approach to cellulite reduction – she usually falls victim of simply not being on a cellulite-specific exercise program… Hence perpetuating her constant battle with all the ways her cellulite affects her daily life, attitude and happiness…

If you’ve "tried everything" with no results to show for your efforts -take a close look at your exercise program (if you are on one right now) and see how you can incorporate the principles of R.E.D.U.C.E. outlined above.

Most of all just be aware that the only way to get rid of the ‘orange peel’ look of your ‘problem zones’ is by proper stimulation of the muscles directly beneath your cellulite areas – not with some ‘bodybuilder’ routine, not with a magical rub-on cream and not with a vibrating toxin releasing massage treatment.

By Kareem Samhouri, DPT

One thing that most people who train for improved abs do not realize is that they need to train their backs at the same time. Without having a proper balance between abdominal and low back strength, there is a change in posture, ultimately resulting in a decreased physique, decreased oxygenation to muscles, and decreased endurance. This means that you will spend more time in the gym, take less away from your workout, and feel more tired the next day. Sounds terrible, right?

One of the greatest secrets that I teach my clients is to strengthen their low back musculature in order to increase the efficacy of their abdominal workouts. Through proper low back strengthening, they are able to normalize their pelvic positions, thereby increasing the stretch on their skin in the abdomen. This increase in stretch, or better posed decrease in slack, results in showing the muscles that lie underneath. With the 3 step plan you see below, you may just find that you have had more abdominal definition than you knew:

Step 1: Learn how to perform stability exercises rather than crunches. Functionally, our abs work to stabilize our bodies while walking, standing from a chair, or sitting down. This is referred to as an ‘isometric’ contraction, meaning that the muscle is contracting, but no movement is taking place. Whenever your abs are working isometrically, it’s a good bet that your low back is helping stabilize from the other side. Think about it, if my abs are firing and my low back extensors are not, would I not bend forward?

Step 2: Spend double the time on your back than you do on your front. Take for granted the fact that most people work on the muscles they can see in the mirror when working out. If you simply try to counterbalance this for awhile, you will be blown away by the results. By working on muscles such as your lower trapezius, middle trapezius, rhomboids, posterior deltoids, gluteals, and multifidi, you will stand far ahead of your competition. Your body will assume a better posture, your circulation will improve, the oxygen delivery to your muscles will improve, and your metabolism will increase. All of these factors will drive your results through the roof when attempting to improve abdominal definition and strength.

Step 3: Change it up. Most people perform the same exercises every other time that they work out. Instead, try to vary joint angles and positions, muscles targeted, surfaces used, or anything else you can think of in order to ‘shock your system’ into thinking it’s never exercises before. Do you remember the first time you worked out? You were pretty sore, right? Me too. There is a reason for this: our bodies were producing a ton of lactic acid, which produced soreness, and resulted in a repair process that uses energy to get rid of the acid. This energy equals increased metabolism. If you increase metabolism, you’ll hit your goals before you know it!

If you’d like to see amazing results with your ab strengthening program in the gym, all you have to do is follow this three step plan. By targeting your muscles the way they are intended to be used, improving posture, and mixing things up, you will be blown away by the results.

If you’d like a free trial of an incredibly effective ab strengthening program that only takes 10 minutes per day, please go to: http://AbStrengthGuide.com

By Rob Poulos, Fat Loss & Fitness Expert & Author of "Fat Burning Furnace"

I was puttering around on the internet this morning and I saw something that caught my eye. It was the latest data regarding our current life expectancy as humans from the World Health Organization, along with a history of how that’s changed over the years.

This info went all the way back to the Neanderthal period (the guys from the Geico commercials) up to present day humans. Those poor Geico guys only lived to be 20 years old on average, while today’s humans can expect about 75 years of life.

But did you know that today’s people have an average healthy life expectancy of just 67 years? In other words, this is saying that you can expect 8 years of your life in poor health. 8 years! That’s 2900+ days of poor health. I don’t know about you, but that’s not something I’m looking forward to.

I sure think we can do better than 67 years of good health on this planet. And you know what? We can. This number is an average. Like anything else, you don’t have to be average if you don’t want to be. The average person doesn’t exercise properly, if at all. The average person doesn’t know how to make the right foods selections and maintain a healthy diet. The average person doesn’t apply themselves mentally and emotionally to maintain relatively stress free living.

If this sounds a little bit too much like you, the good news is you don’t have to be this person any longer. While it is a shame that today’s health, fitness, and diet industry is simply confusing more people than it’s helping, there are a few people and organizations out there that can provide a realistic, effective and efficient approach to breaking past the average healthy life span and living those years full of energy, strength, and vitality.

I get questions from my Fat Burning Furnace readers all the time, after going through the FBF materials, about how they can’t believe how little exercise I recommend. And even though I’ve told them up front that they can let go of the aerobics or traditional cardio, many still have trouble doing that. And what I tell them is directly related to the subject of life expectancy and just how much time we really have in our lives.

I tell them that having a lean, strong, and healthy body is great. It’s one of the most important things we can attain. Period. But, how much time is it worth to you? That’s the question I asked myself over and over when seeking out my own methods and developing the FBF methods.

Most people, after years and years of trial and error, come to realize that spending several days and hours a week working out is just not worth the trouble. And carefully measuring your food, counting calories, and depriving yourself of nutrient rich foods like whole grain carbohydrates is also something that shouldn’t be necessary to enjoy a healthy and energy filled life. And it isn’t.

What we really should be focusing on is how much time and effort is minimally required to get the results we’re looking for. Think about that. Not how much, but how much is minimally required. Remember, we’ve got just 67 healthy years as a starting point…If I valued my time on this planet, this is what I would be searching for.

If it really took hours and hours a week and all of that crazy nutrition manipulation to burn fat, build muscle, strength, and cardiovascular health, I’m not sure I’d do it. Not for very long anyway. I’ve tried that approach, for years, and if you have you know it’s no fun. And it’s just not realistic given the demands our lives place on us in today’s world.

But as I’ve mentioned before, you don’t have to worry about that kind of stuff anymore. The principles in my FBF system allow you to approach your genetic potential for a lean, strong, and healthy body in just minutes each week and with very simple lifestyle changes.

I’ve been using the FBF principles for a while now. I work out twice each week. I even take a week off entirely every few weeks or so. I don’t count calories. I don’t deprive myself of the foods I love. If it’s my daughter’s birthday, I eat a piece of cake. I just work the FBF principles and continue to stay in great shape day after day, week after week, year after year.

I work out so little because of the way the workouts are performed and created, and I eat with such flexibility because I stick with the FBF lifestyle, which gives you the power of flexibility and variation that is lacking in most programs.

What I’m saying is that I’ve discovered what is minimally required to give me the health and body that I wanted. And many of my FBF students are doing it as well. Sure I could add another day a week to my workouts, but at this point it would actually be detrimental to my results. I could also start messing with my diet in all sorts of crazy ways, but that would just make my body angry and cause me unneeded stress.

So, I ask you, are you trying to find what’s minimally required to get you the results you want? If you truly value your time and the other worthy pursuits in your life, I’m suggesting that this is exactly what you should be doing. If you don’t, you may just end up being an average 67 year old with 8 years of poor health to look forward to.

If you are like every other yo-yo dieter out there, chances are you have started and stopped several diet plans with no success. The first week is easy. You’re full of excitement. You tell yourself “this time will be different.” The second week is ok, a little harder than the first but you’re still sticking to it. And then what happens? You bend the rules a bit and start falling back into your old habits. Why does this happen? Why do we go through this vicious cycle? I’ll tell you why. We are focusing on the wrong goal. For whatever reason, we must not perceive our weight loss as being “important enough” to achieve. So what would be “important enough” to stick to our new healthy eating habits? Your HEALTH! Nothing in this world is more important than the state of your health. Think about it, your health affects everything else in your life. Once our health is compromised we automatically change our lifestyle habits. Just look at President Clinton. Not until he had the ultimate health scare did he really change his eating and exercise habits. Let’s not wait until our bodies completely have a break down before we decide to take care of ourselves. If you feel lousy, everything you do that day is lousy. Likewise, if you feel great, everything you do that day is great. So this year, let’s not focus on just losing a few pounds, let’s focus on Health, the #1 thing in our lives.

So ask yourself, “How important is my health to me? How do I want to live the rest of my life? Sick and feeling horrible or healthy and feeling vibrant? Do I want to play golf and tennis in my retirement or do I want to spend it in the hospital?” The answer to these questions will ultimately dictate your weight and your health for the future. Any lifestyle habit that affects your health in a positive way will automatically cause you to lose weight or maintain a good healthy weight.

Follow this checklist towards health and you will see weight come off automatically.

1. Make the time to focus on health.
The number one reason people do not eat healthy or exercise is because they “don’t have the time”. But why is it that once we get sick, have a heart attack, are diagnosed with heart disease, diabetes or cancer, we all of a sudden have the time? This doesn’t make any sense. We wait until our bodies have become so ill to finally take measures towards taking care of it. This is the equivalent to never getting an oil change or servicing your car and letting it completely break down before doing anything about it. Prioritize your day. What could possibly be more important than your health? Your children, yes, I agree. But guess what? If something happens to you, who will be there for your children? I know that sounds terrible but it’s true. How many times have we heard stories of young children losing parents to heart attacks and strokes? Choose health not only for yourself but for your children as well. Prioritize your day so that making healthy meal choices and exercising are right at the top.

2. Take a long hard look at what you are putting into your body.
For one week, read every ingredient of every food you eat. This could potentially be a scary experience. Some ingredient labels on packaged foods sound more like a college chemistry class than anything we should be eating. As a golden rule, if you can’t pronounce it, chances are you shouldn’t be eating it. The majority of the foods you should be eating shouldn’t even have an ingredients label. They should be vegetables, fruits, raw nuts, chicken, fish, eggs, meat. If you make 90% of your diet, fresh food, I guarantee you will significantly change your weight and your health. No time to make fresh food? (please refer back to #1). Cook more than one portion at a time when you do cook so that there are always healthy leftovers in the fridge. You can always have for lunch leftovers from the night before. Cook several portions of one meal and freeze some. A good example of this is healthy soup or turkey chili. Put a portion of chili in a small Tupperware and freeze. You can grab this when in a hurry for lunch or dinner.

3. How much are you eating?
In the United States, our perception of one portion is extremely distorted. Restaurant portions are about 3 times more than what we should be eating in one sitting. If we become accustomed to seeing this much food on our plate at a restaurant we tend to do the same when we are at home and serve ourselves. According to a study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, women are eating 300 more calories a day and men 168 more calories than 20 years ago. All it takes is 100 extra calories a day to gain 10 pounds a year.

For one week, reduce your portions at lunch and dinner by half. There is no need to “clean your plate”. Most times what’s on your plate is double what you should be eating anyway. If you feel some hunger in the afternoon, add one small apple with a handful of raw nuts as a snack. Your body will quickly become accustomed to the smaller portions and you will eventually not be able to eat as much in one sitting as you did before. Remember, you have access to an abundance of food every day. You don’t need to eat it all at once.

4. Drink WATER!
Dehydration has directly been linked to several forms of diseases including colon cancer, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol levels. Many people also mistake thirst for hunger. So it may not be that you’re hungry all day, you may just be thirsty and dehydrated. In due time, dehydration will cause a gradual gain in weight from overeating as a direct result of confusion of thirst and hunger sensations.

Take a look at what you are drinking each day.

Coffee or Soda (Diet Coke included)? The caffeine in both will dehydrate you even more and will cause you to feel hungrier during the day.

Diet drinks and sodas? The artificial sweetener actually enhances your appetite and increases food intake.

Orange Juice and other Fruit Juices? The sugar and calories can add up to 10 teaspoons of sugar per drink, which can be anywhere from 150-200 calories. Not to mention the fact that sugar eventually makes you crave more sugar.

Every person should be drinking half of their body weight in ounces of water each day. So if you weigh 150 lbs, you should be drinking 75 ounces of water each day. If you drink coffee or any other caffeinated beverage during the day, the ounces of water needed increases.

5. How much do you move each day?
Your body was designed to move! Your heart is a muscle and must be worked just like every other muscle in your body. You don’t have to join a gym to move, you just have to challenge your body and your muscles each and every day. The two best time saving exercise options I always suggest to clients are:

1.Go for a walk. You can go for a walk anywhere and anytime. No time you say? Please refer back to rule #1.

2. Set up your home with some free weights and an exercise ball. You will be amazed at the number of exercises you can do with just your body, some free weights and a stability ball. If you don’t know how, hire a trainer to show you or get a good book. Get into the routine of scheduling your exercise time each and every day. No ifs, ands or buts. Make your exercise time more important than phone calls, laundry, errands or lunch dates.

Make a promise to yourself that this time will be about health, not about short term weight loss. Really evaluate how you are treating your body on an everyday basis. Is that the same way you would treat a highly valuable, expensive piece of equipment? Because that’s what your body is. There is no amount of money in the world that will buy you another one, so you might as well take really good care of the one you got!
