<p><strong>Caution</strong>:</p>
<p>This sounds like a silly question, but it&rsquo;s really the most important question you can ask:</p>
<p><strong>&ldquo;What REALLY makes me increase my bodyfat?&rdquo;</strong></p>
<p>Is it too many calories? Sure. That&rsquo;s one part. But I know people who can eat 4-5K calories a day and not add an ounce.</p>
<p>Is it dietary fat? Rarely if ever.</p>
<p>Fat is necessary to melt bodyfat. It is true that fat has more calories per gram than protein or carbs, but let&rsquo;s look at this logically:</p>
<p>40% protein; 40% carbs; 20% fat = 40% fat; 40% protein; 20% carbs</p>
<p>So&hellip; no. Increasing your dietary fat does not mean you&rsquo;ll get fatter&hellip;</p>
<p>UNLESS&hellip; ready?</p>
<p><strong>Your insulin levels are too high.</strong></p>
<p>Elevated insulin is not only the prime cause of diabetes and a sign of being hypoglycemic, but it&rsquo;s also the prime numero uno reason people get fat.</p>
<p>And insulin is stimulated most by too many carbohydrates&hellip; even the so-called &ldquo;healthy carbs!&rdquo;</p>
<p>HOWEVER&hellip; ready again?</p>
<p>You can still eat carbs&hellip; you do not need a &ldquo;low-carb&rdquo; dietplan every day in order to keep your insulin and bodyfat low.</p>
<p>You just have to know what TIME to eat the carbs.</p>
<p>There&rsquo;s a time and place for everything and carbs are no exception.</p>
<p>I have a presentation here that tells you more about how important timing is and how you can eat your carbs (even sweets) and shed bodyfat&hellip;</p>

<p>That being said:</p>
<p>If I had to cut one thing out of my diet for 1-4 days it would definitely be carbs.</p>
<p>I need fat&hellip; fat helps melt bodyfat&hellip; and I have trained my body to use its own fat-stores for fuel.</p>

<p>I DEFINITELY need protein&hellip; and so do you.</p>
<p>Protein speeds up thermogenesis, or your body&rsquo;s own fat-burning heat factory.</p>
<p>Protein also blunts your appetite so you naturally eat less.</p>
<p>Some carbs are healthy&hellip; and I do not recommend you cut out low-sugar fruits and green veggies&hellip; you need that stuff.</p>
<p>But you don&rsquo;t need grains, breads, etc.</p>
<p>At least for a few days.</p>
<p>THEN&hellip; you need them&hellip; but only after you do two things.</p>

<p>P.S. My favorite &ldquo;Feed Meal&rdquo; (that&rsquo;s what I call meals where I eat a lot of calories and carbs) is this:</p>
<p>Small serving of protein (1/2 my normal serving size) like chicken, tuna, etc.</p>
<p>Brown rice or baked potato</p>
<p>Slice of pecan pie (or Key Lime pie&hellip; yum.)</p>
<p>Then later that day I&rsquo;ll have a few slices of New York-style pizza.</p>
<p>The next day I&rsquo;m LEANER. It never fails.</p>
<p>The only time this can fail is if you do not set your body UP to receive these carbs and some junk food.</p>
<p>I call this my &ldquo;Real World Favorite Foods Dietplan.&rdquo; That&rsquo;s not the name of my System but it could be! That&rsquo;s exactly what it is.</p>

<p>                                    Today I went for some New York-style  										pizza here in Austin, Texas.</p>
<p>                                    Do I feel &#8216;guilty&#8217;? No way&#8230; in fact  										tomorrow I will feel LEANER.</p>
<p>                                    What the what?</p>
<p>                                    I had to set up my body for this bit of  										metabolic trickery of<br />
                                    course. You cannot just &quot;eat pizza&quot; and  										shed the pounds&#8230; I wish<br />
                                    you could!</p>
<p>                                    But my personal System for fatloss not  										only &quot;allows&quot; pizza (and all<br />
                                    my other favorite foods)&#8230; it DEMANDS  										that I eat it.</p>
<p>                                    Here&#8217;s another true story: I blew off my  										&quot;feed meal&quot; (that&#8217;s what<br />
                                    it is called in my System) four days  										ago. I have been on a massive<br />
                                    fatloss roll for weeks now and frankly I  										just did not feel like<br />
                                    eating a lot. </p>
<p>                                    That&#8217;s another benefit of my System&#8230;  										it really cuts your appetite<br />
                                    and food-cravings down. </p>
<p>                                    Anyway, the next day in the gym I fell  										on my face! I was weaker and<br />
                                    not any leaner. I went home, ate  										literally about 6000 cals and<br />
                                    presto: Leaner than &#8216;ever&#8217; the next day  										and ready to train hard.</p>

                                    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>The 10-Minute Cardio Trick</strong><b><br />
                                    </b><br />
                                    If you want to just get into good heart  										health, you only need GXP<br />
                                    Cardio (covered in the System mentioned  										above) 2-3 days per week<br />
                                    for 9-15 minutes. That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>                                    However if you want to use &quot;smart  										cardio&quot; (not long, boring cardio)<br />
                                    then you need a bit more. Just a bit. 										</p>
<p>                                    It&#8217;s my 10-minute trick.</p>
<p>                                    Start with just every other day. Then  										move to 4 days&#8230; and then 5.</p>
<p>                                    If you are pressed for time, this is  										ideal. Even if you are not, it<br />
                                    works like magic.</p>
<p>                                    10 minutes in the morning &#8216;before&#8217; you  										eat. Just make sure your<br />
                                    heart rate is only about 65% of your  										max&#8230; in other words, you are<br />
                                    not breathing super-heavy at all, but  										you are working up a sweat.<br />
                                    That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>                                    10 minutes &#8216;before&#8217; lunch. Just cut your  										lunch hour short by 10<br />
                                    minutes&#8230; that&#8217;s all. You don&#8217;t sweat  										enough to need a shower&#8230;<br />
                                    don&#8217;t worry. Walking stairs works great,  										or walking outside&#8230; be<br />
                                    creative!</p>
<p>                                    Then 10 &#8216;harder&#8217; minutes about 2 hours  										before you go to sleep. Get<br />
                                    your heart rate up to where you are  										breathing a little harder.</p>
<p>                                    That&#8217;s it.</p>
<p>                                    You can even start with just two  										sessions of 10 minutes (morning<br />
                                    and night) if lunch is out.</p>
<p>
                                    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <u>FATLOSS TRICK 3</u><br />
                                    &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Increase Your Fat?</strong></p>
<p>                                    Yep. I want you to eat more  										dietary-fat&#8230;. but I want you to<br />
                                    replace some of your carbohydrates  										(starch like rice, potatoes,<br />
                                    etc.) with healthy fats like olive oil,  										coconut oil and almonds.</p>
<p>                                    Fat dulls the appetite and all three of  										the fats above actually<br />
                                    help your body get rid of its fat-stores  										if you decrease carbs.</p>

                                    Resistance training not only sculpts the  										body (cardio cannot) but<br />
                                    it also burns 9-12x more bodyfat over  										the long-term than cardio.</p>
<p>                                    But you need both. And both cardio and  										resistance training (in-home<br />

<p>														Just a short time ago I had my business partner Jeff over for dinner. We had a delicious healthy meal, all cooked by yours truly (with a little help from my husband).</p>
<p>														Here&#39;s exactly what was on the table:</p>
<p>														<strong>Lemon Buttered Chicken Breasts</strong></p>
<p>														<strong>Brown Rice</strong> &#8211; with a touch of Celtic Sea Salt and Butter</p>
<p>														<strong>Zucchini and Broccoli</strong> &#8211; saut&eacute;ed with fresh garlic and coconut oil</p>
<p>														<strong>Colourful Salad</strong> with my famous homemade dressing</p>
<p>														<strong>Famous Homemade Dressing</strong> &#8211; Olive oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, Brown Mustard, Fresh chopped garlic, and lots of love. (yes, you can add your own love and it will taste just as great.)</p>
<p>														Here was the problem. Not one hour later, Jeff was hungry! Yikes buddy, you ate enough for a whole village and now you&#39;re telling me your hungry?</p>
<p>														<img align="right" alt="isabel de los rios , the diet solution , dieting for fat loss , lose fat , diet solution program" border="0" height="125" hspace="5" src="http://www.atozfitness.com/images/DSP-Ad1.jpg" vspace="5" width="125" />This seems to happen to a lot of people when they adopt a new healthy eating plan. They eat all the &quot;right&quot; foods on their plan and then they feel hunger all day. Who can function when they&#39;re hungry? I surely can&#39;t. Have you ever seen me hungry? Good&#8230; you don&#39;t want to.</p>
<p>														What I have noticed with Jeff over the past few meals we have shared together is that when he eats meats and proteins that are very lean (chicken breast, lean fish, lean buffalo) he is left hungry very soon after. But when he eats meats and proteins that are more on the fatty side (chicken legs and thighs, salmon, beef) he is satiated for much longer.</p>
<p>														Here&#39;s why&#8230;</p>
<p>														You must know your metabolic type in order to choose the foods that you&#39;re body will work best with. If you are not eating according to your type, you will be hungry all day and sticking to your healthy plan will be much harder, even impossible.</p>
<p>														I see people make this mistake all the time. They think that &quot;one size fits all&quot; or more specifically &quot;one meal plan fits all&quot; (I refuse to use the word &quot;diet&quot; as you all know my meal plans are not a diet).</p>
<p>														Just in case you have not yet taken the Metabolic Type Test in The Diet Solution Program, here are just a few questions that may help you tackle your hunger and keep staying on a healthy eating regimen much more doable for you. Remember this is just a small sampling of questions, to get the best results you&#39;ll need to take the full Metabolic Type Test in the Diet Solution Program.</p>
<p>														1. When you include more sources of fat into your meals, are you then more satiated for a longer period of time? (You may be a protein type)</p>
<p>														2. When you include healthy starches like brown rice, oatmeal and sweet potatoes into your meals, are you then more satiated for a longer period of time? (You may be a carb type)</p>
<p>														3. When you eat a combination of carbs and proteins in every meal, are you then more satiated for a longer period of time? (You may be a mixed type)</p>
<p>														Please don&#39;t think it&#39;s ok for protein types go full on Atkins and carb types go completely starch happy. We all need a combo of all macronutrients. I can tell you this, as a strong protein type myself, if I only ate chicken breast, lean fish and brown rice for my meals, I would soon be eating my fingers (and that&#39;s not cute).</p>
<p>														Pay close attention to your meals throughout the day or better yet keep a food journal and ask yourself these questions to find your own &quot;hunger solutions&quot;:</p>
<p>														1. Which meals left me feeling the best? Energized? Satiated? And Satisfied?</p>
<p>														2. Which meals left me feeling bad? Hungry? Lethargic? And craving more?</span></font><span style="font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif; font-size: 12pt;"></p>
<p>														</span><font face="Verdana"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">3. Am I eating out of boredom or habit or is this really hunger?</p>
<p>														Start there and really pay attention to how your meals are making you feeling soon after. Once you tackle the hunger problem, healthy eating becomes much, much easier&#8230;for you and even for my hungry friend Jeff. </span></p>
