Swine Flu – a good reason to stay lean !

I want to share something with you today. There’s a lot more to be said on the subject, such as the suspected and partly proven origins of the “swine” flu, but for now I just want you to be aware of a couple of little things.

It seems that the US is planning on mandatory vaccination … what, at gun-point? How else are they going to force people? Threaten to take their homes, cars, kids away? I don’t know, and I hope Canada never gets an idea that wild, but in case it does come to forced vaccination, here’s what the Health Ranger has to say about what you can do to minimize the risks involved with the “vaccine” (apparently a good worse than the evil it’s supposed to combat):

Do you need more cardio to get rid of the belly fat?

Well, according to the trainer a colleague of mine saw last week, yes. He also told her to eat low fat cottage cheese, low-fat or fat-free cheese, 0% fat yoghurt etc with that same goal in mind. Finally she was told to cut out fried food and rice.

The thing I can agree with, is cutting the fried foods, as long as we’re talking deep fried and not sautéed in a pan with a spray of cooking oil.

Eliminating rice? No, why? Rice is fine, in moderation (i.e. portion control) and as long as you chose the whole grain rice rather than the polished, white variety with all nutrients removed. Oh, and have that rice for lunch, not for supper.

When it seems to you that there are « too many » things in your life, when 24

hours seem insufficient … remember the jar of mayonaise and coffee !

There was a philosophy professor who placed a large mayonaise jar in front of his class

and without saying a word started to fill it up with golf balls.

He then asked the class if this jar was full. The students all agreed that it was.

I’ve told you about Jon Benson’s Every Other Day Diet (EODD) before, and both Lewis and I have been using the easy-to-follow principles for months now. What is it, half a year or more? Now, Jon Benson didn’t just sit back and relax, happy to have shared his EODD with everyone. No, he sat down and worked some more.

The result is the new, revised EODD 2.0 which is so radically different from the original version that we’re almost talking about two different books and plans altogether. What I changed about EODD 2.0 SNAPP!

Jon Benson wrote EODD. He then listened to his readers and clients and changed it to EODD 2.0 SNAPP! which is a … well, it’s a snap! However, no plan is perfect; no one plan is going to be the plan for everyone.
