A big sets/reps MISTAKE that most make…

This is one of the biggest weight training mistakes I’ve seen over and over again with so many people over the years… it may seem obvious to some advanced trainees, but for most beginner/intermediate people, I’ve noticed that they make this mistake in the gym MOST of the time…

And that has to do with sets and reps, and the intensity that they are performed.

Let me explain…

What I’ve noticed is one of the main reasons for lack of progress in the gym is that most people are not performing their reps and sets to challenge their body enough. I’m not referring to rest period between sets either (although that is definitely part of the equation).

Yes, I know this sounds crazy since squats and deadlifts don’t directly work your arms (except for the grip and forearm strength needed to deadlift heavy weights)… but it’s true that regularly performing heavy squats and deadlifts can indirectly help to make your arms bigger and stronger.

The reason is that heavy squatting and/or deadlifting forces the body to release muscle building hormones such as testosterone and growth hormone depending on the resistance level, rep range, rest period, etc.

It’s always fun to see someone actually dare say out loud what many suspect and many know but mindfully suppress from common knowledge.

What I am talking about, is Mike Geary’s new Fat Burning Kitchen e-book.

Most of the things on his “do not have in the house” lists I already do not have in the house. The reasons have been either explained in other books (partially) or the information gathered from here and there on the Internet.

bad salad dressings you thought were healthy…

Most salad dressings that you buy at the grocery store or get at most restaurants are pure junk…

Although some salad dressings are high in sugar or high fructose corn syrup, probably the main problem with most salad dressings is that they are made with highly refined and processed oils… usually refined soybean oil (or other mostly polyunsaturated refined oils). These oils are inflammatory to the body and also too high in omega-6 fatty acids.

Sculpt a Better Body with Proper Post-Workout Nutrition

As you’ve probably heard before, your post-workout meal may very well be your most important meal of the day.

The reason is that when you’re finished with an intense workout,
you’re entering a catabolic state where your muscle glycogen is

Mike Geary’s #1 trick to flatten the stomach while driving…

If you’re already a reader of my Truth about Six Pack Abs manual, then you may already know this trick…

Now I will say that this does NOT increase fat burning, but it CAN help to flatten your stomach by strengthening your deeper transversus abdominis muscles and hence “pulling in” a lazy stomach.
